ABOUT THE CLUB
 

Welcome to Holland Football club website. Where you can find all the info about us or just find out where we are.

Holland Football club are affiliated to the Essex FA-Essex and Suffolk Border League – North Essex Veterans League – Colchester and District Youth Leagues and our girls to the Essex County Girls Football League.

Holland was founded in 2006 by Chairman Mark Sorrell, Then vice Chairman and Secretary Vic Webb with just a couple of teams and from then on the club as grown to a considerably size going into the 2010 season. With something like 200+ Children playing football whether being boys and girls playing there football at Eastcliffe playing fields,

The FUTURE

We are planning on going Chartered standard this year and are vigorously working towards this aim, and have a great vision where we would like to be in the few years, and hope to progress. In all departments whether it being Men’s, youth and Girls football.

Holland have regular training session where you can often see teams train at Eastcliff or on the Astroturf pitches in winter at Clacton Leisure Centre.

Holland FC follows the FA respect Campaign. And all our managers and coaches are independently vetted through the FA CRB unit, and hold child protection and emergency 1st aid Certificates and trained to relevant FA coaching Standards.

This is a family friendly club where all parents and children are welcome at the Club.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
